06 April, 2018 “Alaulik-2018” Speed skating competition

The competitions in speed skating "Alaulik-2018" were completed in the Ice Palace "Alau". The competitions are annual for the students of Astana’s Junior Sport school №2. This year the championship was held on April 5-6.

For students it is a great chance to prove themselves before the end of the skating season.

More than 70 young athletes took part in “Alaulik-2018” competitions.

The best result by amount of two distances of 100m and 300m was shown by Ekaterina Shabasova (50.46). The second on the finish line was Elina Bashirova (54.09). Third became Tomiris Ilyasova (54.84).

Prize-winners among boys on the same distance:

Timur Aitbaev (46.17) - I place;

Sanjar Dusimbek (47.33) - II place;

Ruslan Zhanadilov (48.31) - III place.

Danil Salov (81.00) became the winner among boys by the amount of two distances of 300m and 500m. Behind him is Galymzhan Toleshev (87.44). The third place was taken by Miras Abeldin (92.69).

On the final day of the competition, athletes compete for medals in the mass start.

As a result of the mass start among girls, Alina Dauranova became the first. Silver medal took Nurai Raikhan. Bronze medalist - Daria Gavrilova.

In the mass start among juniors at 3200m the fastest was Danila Borisenko. Azamat Satkozha became the second. Bronze was won by Miras Alimahan.

Winners among the juniors in the mass start at 4000m:

Nuraly Akzhol - I place;

Amirkhan Beybaris - II place;

Timur Muslimlihanov - III place.
